Jotthi Bansal, M.A.

Psychology Resident

Jotthi supports clients by promoting self-awareness, resilience, and compassion. She appreciates that clients face unique challenges and aims to help them fulfill goals by providing an integrative approach to therapy, combining Emotion-Focused, Cognitive-Behavioural, Acceptance and Commitment, and Mindfulness based practices. She works with adults and treats a range of difficulties including trauma, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, life transitions, relationships, and career issues.

Jotthi is pursuing her PhD in Clinical and Counselling Psychology at the University of Toronto’s Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE). Her research specializes in emotional and career rehabilitation of injured athletes. She has been practicing therapy and assessment in private practices since 2018 and has received training through practicums with the OISE Psychology Clinic and in private practice.

Jotthi is currently supervised by Dr. Daniel Peluso, C.Psych. and Dr. Noah Lazar, C.Psych.
