Jake Novick, M.Sc.
Therapist
Jake (he/him) is committed to helping clients make meaningful changes so they can live the lives they want. Jake works with adults experiencing a variety of emotional and psychological difficulties, including depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive behaviours, trauma, and interpersonal issues.
Jake takes a collaborative approach to therapy, working closely with his clients to understand their experiences and identify patterns that may be getting in the way of their goals and values. He integrates a range of evidence-based treatment modalities—including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic approaches—to support clients in understanding their challenges, overcoming barriers, and developing practical skills for lasting change.
Jake is currently completing his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Queen’s University. His clinical training has included work in a psychological assessment centre, the Queen’s Psychology Clinic, private practice settings, and a family health team.
Jake is currently supervised by Dr. Noah Lazar, C.Psych.
