Dr. Chopra is a clinical psychologist who works with adults and adolescents. She conducts diagnostic assessments and provides treatment for various psychological concerns, including depression, anxiety, workplace issues, posttraumatic stress disorder, chronic pain, substance use, and relationship and interpersonal difficulties. Dr. Chopra provides treatment within a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) model and also incorporates techniques from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy, as well as other specialized protocols.
Dr. Chopra completed her Ph.D. in clinical psychology at the University of Windsor, and her doctoral residency at SUNY – Upstate Medical in Syracuse, NY. She has worked in numerous inpatient, outpatient, and private practice clinics. Dr. Chopra has consulted with a number of regulated health colleges in Ontario to create and operate their mental health and substance use monitoring programs. In addition to her private practice work, she is currently a staff psychologist at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH).
