Dr. Monique Tremblay is a Clinical Psychologist in supervised practice, providing psychological assessment and treatment services to children, adolescents, and adults. Her approach is based in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and integrates components of other evidence-based therapies including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
She provides diagnostic assessment and treatment for a diverse range of psychological concerns, including, mood and anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), body image concerns, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), trauma, parenting challenges, anger, disruptive behaviours, social skills difficulties, difficulties coping with stress, as well as psychological challenges associated with managing chronic health conditions.
Dr. Tremblay completed her master’s and PhD in Clinical Psychology at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) and her pre-doctoral residency at Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children. Additionally, Dr. Tremblay has trained at several other hospitals and community mental health agencies, including, McMaster Children’s Hospital, St. Michael’s Hospital, and the Reach Out Centre for Kids.
