Stephen Fenn, MSW, RSW

Stephen Fenn is a registered social worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and the Ontario Association of Social Workers. Throughout his career, Stephen has focused on providing individual and group evidence-based treatment to those experiencing depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, and navigating challenging life transitions. Stephen has specialized in supporting individuals coping with complex chronic health issues, older adults, and providing therapy to members of the LGBTQ* communities.
Stephen’s approach to counselling is rooted in anti-oppressive and trauma informed practices. Through their work with clients, Stephen strives to support individuals to recognize and master their individual strengths and coping mechanisms to live their lives holistically and achieve their goals. Stephen focuses on working collaboratively across treatment with clients through ongoing feedback and goal planning to ensure clients are respected, validated, and actively engaged in their own mental health treatment.
Stephen completed his undergraduate degree in Social Work at the Toronto Metropolitan University, and Masters of Social Work with a focus on mental health at the University of Toronto. Stephen has completed multiple trainings and certifications in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, grief counselling, and various other clinical modalities.
